Button card

 I'm sorry I haven't been around lately.  I've been busy trying to straighten up my craft room.

It's getting better but I still have a long way to go.

In the process of looking through my "stuff" ...I found this card that I made and I'm pretty sure that I never took a pic of it before...and have not posted it.

Hope everyone is doing well...

Me, (like I'm sure all of you are too)  finding it so difficult to listen to the news more than ever these days.  I am praying for all the hurting people.  (and definitley praying that things will get better)

SC866 A card for Splitcoast Sketch Challenge

 I made this card for this week's Split Coast Stampers Sketch Challenge...

I have entered many challenges there through the years...but very few sketch challenge's.  For some reason the sketch challenge's intimidate me.  This one looked easy so I thought I would give it a try.  Besides I wanted to use my new Desighner paper from Stampin' Up...smile.

Barry's Truck

 The last card I posted I made at the request of my sister...

This was at the request of my brother.  He asked me to make another card that he could send to my grandson.  My grandson recently joined the military and he will be soon moving to another base.  

The truck on this card looks pretty much like my brother's truck.  It's a stamp by Stampendous.  (Called Truck friends)  My hubby colored the truck for me with copics.

I think my granson will recognize his Uncle's truck...

In the inside of the card..   The sentiment reads....  

Is that your plane going over my truck?

One thing I really like about making home cards is how you can really personalize them.

Birthday baseball card

 My sister asked me to make a birthday card for a friend of hers...

She wanted me to make it a baseball theme.  I don't have any stamps for that ...so I decided to order some baseball fabric that I saw on line.  besides using the fabric for my image,  I used designer paper from Graphic 45 for my background, and I computer generated the sentiment.  I used dimensionals to pop up my image.

TLC885 Split Circle Technique

 I made this card for the Technique Lovers Challenge at Split Coast Stampers. 

That catagory is so me.  I really enjoy learning new techniques with making cards.

This is the split Circle Technique.  My first try it is so easy.

My Circles (which also came with instructions) were a gift to me by a Split Coast Friend, Joan,  AKA ponygirl2... ( she send it to me a while ago)

I finally got around to using what she sent to me when this challenge came up at Split Coast.

She later also mailed me the The buffalo check? Paper that she sent to me.  (I think I called it correctly)  All I know is that I really like that paper.  Or is it called bullalo plaid?

We woke up to snow this morning.  Which was a surprise...we had no idea that they were calling for snow.  I think it has stopped for now.  However it did set the mood for me to sit and make a card.

Splitcoasst Christmas Challenge

 I made this card for the Christmas card challenge at Split Coast stampers.  For our February card...The challenge is to make a Christmas card with a candle (s) on the card.

It was a challenge for me...because, even though, I feel like I havea oodles of stamps...I could not find one stamp that would fit the challenge.  

This candle die is from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I used paper behind the window from Stampin' Up...My sentiment was cut using a die from Penny Black,  my Designer paper background was from American crafts, and my Windows shutters are from Kaisercraft...I used stickles for my candle flame.

Twisted Sister challenge

 I made this card for the "Twisted Sisters" Challenge at Split Coast Stampers.

For the challenge we were to make a card using the Standing pop up card fold.

I used Graphic 45 paper for my background on the card.  I fussy cut the roses from Graphic 45 paper.  I added a sticker for the sentiment (Anna Griffin) and added some lace.

Birthday card for my neighbor

 I just found out that my next door neighbor's birthday is tomorrow.

So I had to make a quick card.  Kind of stuck as to what to make for him...then I rmembered this bird stamp and die that I had.  It's from one of my craft magazines.

Valentine's card 2022

 Another Floating Strips card...   As I have said before on this blog...

It's one of my favorite techniques.  You can find the tutorial at Split Coast Stampers.

I used some paper from Kaisercraft to make this A2 card...using Acetate for the background.

It feels good to finally post a card.
