Merry Monday # 189

This week the challenge is to make a ONE LAYER CARD.  Yikes!  One of the most difficult cards for me to make.  So it was a challenge!  In my years of card making, I probably have only made about three One layer cards.  

My card was made using a stamp that came along with my "Make Christmas cards magazine" that I purchased two years ago.  The magazine is on the expensive side but it came with two sets of stamps, designer paper, and stickers.  It also has lots of cards ideas to give you inspiration to use the products that came with their magazine.  So far, I have made about 30 Christmas cards using this magazine for inspiration.  So I think that I have gotten my money's worth!  smile. 

 These are a couple more of the cards I have made using the same magazine.

I have to make this post quick because I almost running out of time to post this card to
this week's Merry Monday Challenge.

I am so thank for this Challenge because it really did motivate me to get more cards done before Christmas last year.
However,  I still  had a melt down about a week before Christmas because I ran out of cards.
So...I hope to get more done ahead of time this year.

Five of my favorite cards from 2015

I have been going on blogs that have been posting their favorite cards from 2015.  I have so enjoyed the posts so...

Since I haven't been able to make anything new yet this year...I decided to go back and look through
last years cards for some inspiration.  And the above are the ones that popped out at me...

I know I didn't make as many cards this year that I have in other years, so I certainly hope
I will do better in 2016.
