The heart of Christmas

I hope this looks like a Christmas card and not a Valentine's card!

I made this card using  Rubber stamps Tapestry...

If you haven't heard of them before...it's wood peg stamps.  You stamp each leaf, each flower, each vine, etc.   with a small round rubber stamp.  I actually like using them because each card you make will be little bit  different.

I added a heart stamped and cut out with a die (sweetNsassy)

added some red and green gems to the wreath, and used dimensionals to pop up my cut out heart and sentiment.

Thank you for visiting my blog today,

Blessings,

Jill

Twofer Challenge Hearts

The above card is the one I am entering into Darnell's Twofer Card Challenge...

You can find the link to the challenge here
https://twofercardchallenge.blogspot.com/

This Month's card challenge theme is "Hearts'

I hope my card counts because I used two different stamps to make my cards
but I did use BOTH stamps on both of my cards.

For my first card I used my Rubber stamp tapestry card to make a heart wreath...
except when I had done (after two tries)...my wreath did not look much like a heart.  smile
So, I cut out the wreath with a heart die by Daris. I added a small heart die in the center of my wreath using a stamp from SweetNSassy stamps.

For my second card I again used my rubber stamp tapestry stamps to make a vine hedge behind my park bench die (By Impression Obession rubber stamps)  I added two pillows on the bench stamped with my Sweet and Sassy heart die.  My sentiments are from SweetNSassy.

Thank you again, Darnell for this great challenge!

And thank you all for visiting my blog today
Blessings,
Jill

Reposting some Older cards that I made a few years ago.

The Christmas card that I posted in my last post was made using peg stamps just like these two cards that I am posting now were made using my peg stamps.  When I posted my Christmas card here on my blog, and when I posted my card at Split Coast stampers, I had a couple of people ask me "What are peg stamps"?  So I wanted to include a pic of them here in case someone didn't know.  The Rubber stamp tapestry, I believe still has a website to purchase these stamps.  I purchased mine a while back at a stamp store that is no longer in business, so I don't know if the stamps I used to make these cards are still available.  I enjoy using them because every card you make using them come out a little bit different.

My image on my first card came from Blue Moon graphics

Thank you for looking,

Merry Monday Christmas Challenge

I made this card for both the Merry Monday Christmas Challenge...which can be found here

And also for the Twisted Sister Challenge at Split Coast Stampers...

The Merry Monday Challenge this week is to use ribbon and button(s) on your card...
My button is the bell in the center of my ribbon, I cut off the shank!
For the Twisted sister Challenge this week's challenge is to make a Christmas card with a Wreath on the card.

I made my wreath with using my rubber stamp Tapestry peg stamps...(Partridge in a pear tree)  and some of the peg stamps from the Cherry Blossom set.  I stamped my image with Memento inks, Rich Cocoa, Cottage ivy, Desert Sand, Sweet Plumb.  My sentiment was stamped using a stamp from SweetNSassy stamps and stamped with Stampin' Up ink (Real red)  added a ribbon, and made a frame using peel offs.

More Nbus

Before I forget, I want to welcome some new friends...

All of these ladies have fabulous blogs, Take a look...You will certainly enjoy visiting...

I like to make purchases at www.PaperWishes.com   I also subscribe to their newsletter where they sometimes include freebies.  The banner above on my card was one of their freebies that I printed a long time ago.  I printed it twice so I could layer it (3d it).  My twine,  Well I can't tell you what year that was purchased, and the sticker letters also are on an unused sticker sheet from a long time ago.  My sentiment was computer generated.
So you probably know by now, that this means that I can enter this post in Darnell's great NBUS challenge.  There's lots of Never before used stuff here...
To see Darnell's challenge go here...

I have also been seeing these cute little notebooks on a lot of the blogs I visit.  So I had to visit the link to see how they were made...

I don't have any PaperTrey products, (yet!)  They are on my wish list.
My names on the notebooks were stamped with stamps from Martha Stewart!  (Never used before)
and a little bird stamp...(Never used before)  and my flowers were stamped  with stamps from Rubber Stamp Tapestry (those I have used a lot before...smile)  So here's more NBUS...and I made my notebooks  for favorite crafting FRIENDS.

Birthday Card for Cam

It's raining today where I live, so it makes it more difficult to get a good pic... I also find it difficult to photograph white/ivory cards, so I tried photographing  this cards two ways.
I needed a birthday card for a lady that was a very special friend to my Mother.  She was her neighbor for 7 years, and is one of the sweetest and kindness ladies I have ever met.  She was so good to my Mother, I don't remember the exact day of her birthday, but I remember it being around the middle of October, so my card is either early or late for her birthday.  The way I do things, it's probably late.  I still wanted to make sure I got a card in the mail for her, I can't even remember which number this is but I think it's 94.  (she looks so much younger)
My card was made with a graphic printed from the Internet, I'm not exactly sure from where, because it was printed a while ago.  I find most of these beautiful pictures at Magic Moonlight.  If this exact image is not there...there are so many other beautiful ones to choose from.
I cut a frame out using one of my spellbinder dies, then stamped around the bottom with my rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps.  I heat embossed the roses with pink embossing powder.  then just outlined the front of my card by scoring with my scor-pal.  I also added a prima flower.

WT309, Ways to use it Challenge

I don't know what happened, I started out trying to make a Valentine card, and ended up with a Birthday card. But I needed a birthday card, so that worked out okay.

My card was stamped with Rubber Stamp Tapestry stamps. (Peg stamps)
Circle cut out with my spellbinder, and the white lace around it was paper pierced with an Ornare stencil, and then I hand cut out the scallops around it. added a bow anda heart charm, and a happy birthday Sticker.
