Beautiful Butterfly card from Janet

I received this beautiful butterfly card from Janet, and the photo does NOT do the card justice.

Her LACE work is beautiful, and Tea bag butterfly is done in just the right colors, and the Gems on the card make it so "CHEERY" and I SO NEEDED this card yesterday, thank you, Janet...

Mom's Christmas Flowers

P Patchwork Pillow I made for Mom

I haven't much time to make cards or post to my blog...so forgive me for posting a CHRISTMAS card that I made. I made it late so I never manged to get it in the mail, (so maybe I am EARLY for next year. The image came from Penny's photobucket...and the card is a tri shutter card (the instructions can be found at Split coast stampers.

I took some photos at my Mother's house, I loved the bouquet that was sent to her by my cousin, so I had to take a photo, but the photo was taken after the beautiful red roses had to be taken out of it, but I thought it still looked nice.

The other photo taken at my Mother's is of a patchwork pillow that I made for her, yes, I sewed all those little squares together...smile...

I also made a card out of an old calendar of mine...I saw the idea on Becca's blog, so I wanted to try it.

I haven't made any cards lately but...

This post got slightly out of order because I forgot to put in Jim's picture of his puzzle. It's also showing that I still need some blog practice, because I couldn't figure out how to delete the photo that I didn't want in this post...Oh well, something else to learn in the new year.

I did help with this house puzzle...It's not quite done,

but you can tell on the box how it WILL look!

The bottom picture is a puzzle that my husband put together

and the puzzle pieces are ALL THE SAME! Tough one...

I said, goals because I no longer make resolutions! I always break the resolutions then
get upset with myself. One goal I had for 2009, was to start a blog...
Obviously, I achieved that goal!
Okay, I cheated! This is a card that I made last year! In fact I posted this card last year...on the first day that I posted to my blog...I cannot believe that was 50 weeks ago! I thought I had started my blog on January 19Th, (Don't know why that date stuck in my head) But I actually started my blog on January 14Th, 2009. Where has this past year gone? I promised that I would have a give away...ages ago. I haven't kept my promise yet...sorry. But I will try my best in the near future to do that. It's hard because I never know these days when I will be home, so I can have a computer to use.
