Another card for my Grandson

 I Think I must be losing it!  I can't believe I forgot to put a title on the card I posted yesterday.

This is another card that will be sent to my grandson.  He just purchased a new car!  (Well, new to him anyway)  Since he is so far away...We won't get to see it.  Hopefully he will send us a picture of it.

My card was made using a 3D sheet.  I still have so many of them (that I had printed up years ago) ...and its way past time that I try to use some of them.  I'm on a mission with some of my craft supplies.  Use it!  Or lose it!

Besides the Iris folding cards that I like to make...this used to also be one of my favorite techniques.  I'm putting it in the past tense...because as much as I like to make these cards...   It's takes a lot fussy cutting which is something I used to like to do.  But that was before I got arthritis in my shoulder and in my hands.  So fussy cutting isn't as much fun.

 I made this Iris Folding card to send to my grandson who is a very long way from home.   It hasn't been that long since he left and I miss him so much.  I'm not a great letter writer.  I never know what to say.  So I'm trying to make a stash of cards that I will be able to send to him.

The card was made using up some of my snippets.

While I am thinking about it... I used some poetic license on this card.  My Husband informed me when I first made one of these cards that snails do not have eyes in there head...

Barry's Truck

 The last card I posted I made at the request of my sister...

This was at the request of my brother.  He asked me to make another card that he could send to my grandson.  My grandson recently joined the military and he will be soon moving to another base.  

The truck on this card looks pretty much like my brother's truck.  It's a stamp by Stampendous.  (Called Truck friends)  My hubby colored the truck for me with copics.

I think my granson will recognize his Uncle's truck...

In the inside of the card..   The sentiment reads....  

Is that your plane going over my truck?

One thing I really like about making home cards is how you can really personalize them.
