VSN

 I made this card for two challenges at Split Coast Stampers.  This weekend is VSN.  I have only done one of these card making events before.  Now I realize why..  I am two slow.  (actually I already knew that).  You have to make your card in under an hour.  I did make the card in under an hour.  (But Just barely within my hour limit.  It should have taken me 10 minutes.

You had to your embossing paste and a stencil.  I used to make Many of my cards using that technique all the time.  But it has been a while...  Most of my pastes seem dried up  (another thing for me to go through in my craft room)  I did find a gel and then it wasn't the color I wanted so I added some reinker to get the color I needed.

Merry Monday...use Kraft

 I made the above card for this week's challenge at Merry Monday.  This week's challenge is to use Kraft on our card.  My background paper almost looks like it's white...but trust me it's Kraft.

I made my card using a  DreamWeaver stencil, and Tim Holtz paint.  

The card above was a Quick card...(like those)  I used a HeartCreations die to cut out the lace border (borrowed the die from my hubby).  Added a flower embellishment from Kaisercraft!
