I'm addicted to making this kind of card.

 in yellow, this one is purple, and I have one in pink and I'm working on one in orange to get ready to post next.

March is just flying by, we did have one really nice day and finally got out to take a walk with my hubby...

But now it's been rainy and chilly.

but I am still looking forward to spring (my favorite season).

Thank You card!

 This is  a card that I actually made in JULY! I made it for a challenge at Split Coast Stampers.  The Challenge was to make a card in my favorite technique.  My favorite technique is Iris Folding.

I made this as a thank you card for a friend that lives in California.  She sent us a beautiful anniversary gift and I wanted to make a special card for her.

Besides the Irish folding, it has copic colored butterflies that I punched out, and I added sticker for my sentiment.

Thank you card

I made a thank you card for my daughter for the goodies she gave to me this week.  It's actually my Christmas present that I just received from her.  My husband's gift that she wanted to give him for Christmas was backordered so she waited till it came in so she could both us our gift from her at the same time.

 So the goodies I received above were from her.  She told me she managed to get most of it when A C Moore went out of business, and had their big going out of business sale.  I recieved lots of ribbons, card stock, dies, stickers, and lots of othere embellishments.  It will keep my crafting for a while longer.

Thank You card!

 My hubby posted on his blog  about how we received a very special surprise gift from one of our neighbors.  Janice from up the street (a Quilter) made us the cutest wall hanging with snowmen on it.  I wanted to make her a thank you card.  The above card is what I came up with to thank her.  I wanted it to have a snowman on it.  (even if SNOW is a word I don't want to hear too much right now.  Smile.

The card below this one is a card I received from Sylvia from Split Coast stampers.  I had posted it on my blog before.  I used (cased) her card to make mine.  Thank you Sylvia for the inspiration.

I also had the good fortune to receive these lovely flowers from my husband today.  Two dozen long stemmed roses.  When I asked him he bought flowers (when he went to the grocery store...He said,  something like "So I don't forget your birthday!"  He has been known to forget ...not often...so this year he is covered...If he'll remember on the actual day of my birthday...well, that remains to be seen...LOL.
