This week's Twisted Sister challenge...

I needed a birthday card for a friend who, obviously, loves dogs!  This week's Twisted Sister challenge at split coast stampers challenge fit the card I needed to make.  CarrollAnn, CA at split Coast  wants a card made this week with an image of a dog and  the color red somewhere on our card.

My dog is a digi from Squigglefly, colored with copics by my hubby  (I know surprise...LOL) and my background was stamped with a stamp from Stampin' Up  D is for Dog,  My sentiment was stamped with a stamp from Clear Stamps from Studio G. I added a balloon sticker and hand cut my banner.

Squigglefly Challenge SFC115

Time for another Squigglefly Challenge SFC115...You can find this week's challenge here

For my card I used the image "A Breezy Walk" by Artist Alecia Blake.

My image was colored with copics. just added a ribbon and a tag with a brad.

This is an easy challenge this week. Just need to have red and/or orange in your main image. Join us for this fun challenge. You will also find some really cute "freebies" at the above link that you could use for making your card.

This card is made from one of the new images...My husband loved this new image because it reminded him of when he was in the Navy and had the opportunity to see some of the places similar to this...

SFC104 Squgglefly Challenge red white and blue

The challenge for this week is to make a red, white, and blue card.
My husband colored my image with copics
I added a border with an EK success punch, added white thin cut strips to red paper to make the red and white striped background, and my white star is a silver button that I cut off the shank and used Versamark and white embossing powder to heat emboss it to change the color to white.

I liked this beautiful image, and made my card a CAS card, because I didn't want to take away from the focus of the pretty image. I only added popdots to raise up the image, a ribbon on the hat, and a sticker for the sentiment.

My husband not only wrote down every color he used for me, he also wrote what color he used for every item...smile.

For some reason Blogger is not co-operating with me today. It won't let me use spell check, so forgive any typos. (that has me spoiled) It won't let me use the hper link, and won't let me comment on some of the blogs. Hopefully, that will be corrected and I can comment on some blogs later today.
