Also, I celebrated my Mother's birthday, by taking a box of my greeting cards to the cancer center, where My Mother and I spent a lot of time together. I hated her having to go there and endure some of the painful treatments, but I never realized how much I would miss our time together there. We spent many hours chatting, and in one of those chats she asked me to take down a box of my greeting cards to the cancer center.
I wanted to water mark My Mother's photo, but couldn't figure out how to do it...So please forgive my blog name going accross the photo...this was one of my favorite pics of my Mother...
This is an old card that I had made for my Mother
I spotted this pillow and it made me think of My Dear Mother-in-law, She made this pillow for my husband for his birthday. And yes, she was not only a very talented lady, she was also someone who had a lot of patience...smile. You would have to...to cross stitch this pillow all those red cross-stitches. I miss you too, Mom.
This is another old card that I had made for my Mother. The 3d image reminding me of a photograph I have of myself which looked very much like this one. My Mother was always buying me dolls. (and I had one that looked very much like the one in this picture.
I'm adding just a couple of pages from the book I had made for my Mother...
I got the inspiration for the memory jar many years ago from a magazine, but I can't remember which one it was...I know there are several web sites and blogs that have memory jars on them.(sorry I forgot to look for links before I posted this...
This is the picture that I have posted at the top of my blog, I was asked if I could show the larger picture, and I said I would post it today. I still have the dress that I am wearing in the picture
