3d cards

My favorite, Crafting buddy, Cherie came to my house last night to craft with me again. I really need her because I realize I haven't made a card since our last get together a week ago. She really helps to motivate me...

My first card was made with a 3d sheet found at Lilac garden...

The second one, I used my Martha Stewart Lattice punch, I saw a card done with this lattice punch at Split coast stampers done by Ctorina, (and Rox has done a tutorial on her blog) and liked the "garden" look of this lattice...wanted to give it a try...

Top card uses the Martha Stewart Fence punch.

I added a glitter frame using score pal tape around the edge...

the stamp I used in an OLD one from Dots...It's a favorite and it's one of the first stamps I ever purchased. It sat in my drawer unused for many years...until I discovered split coast stampers about 2 to three years ago.

From craft night last night

I was finally able to make some cards last night. Cherie (My favorite crafting buddy) came over to my house last night, and helped to motivate me...My cards are very simple but it's a beginning...I finally feel like getting back to making crafts...

In between house cleaning that is...(still working on my craft room) I promise to post a picture of my craft room when it is at least some what presentable for showing...

Well, finally, I had tried to post pictures of my card...but blogger would not let me...so I think it finally worked.

My top card was just done with a K and Company bird sticker and I used my new Martha Stewart punch (deco punch) I used Stampin Up paper, Not quite navy, and Kraft

More of my Husband's needlework

Okay, I feel like I'm cheating...Posting my husband's work again...I just have not found the time to get anything done lately. This is a cross-stitch that he made many years ago. It is now hanging on the wall at our favorite bed and breakfast, where he gave the cross-stitch as a gift.

After looking at the blogs ...on the blog...where bloggers create....It has inspired me to get my craft room straightened up...NOT AN EASY JOB. That job was made even worse tonight. I was feeling like I was finally making some progress (after many hours of working in my craft area)
when I went to move some shelving, and I knocked it over. It's where I keep my beads and buttons, and lots and lots of tiny embellishments...which are now all over my floor. I just walked out of the room and shut the door. I was just too tired to deal with it today. (and I got too depressed just looking at it..). Fortunately, I wasn't hurt, and nothing got ruined. Just made a big mess.
