Mother's day card for my daughter

 All the Mothers that were in my life, are sadly no longer here...

I decided to make a Mother's day card for my daughter...

The cute dogie dies are from Impression Obsession Stamps.  The dies were a Christmas present to me from my crafting buddy, Kathi.  They are NBUS, because this is the first time that I have used them.  My daughter's dog, Trixie, is like my daughters's baby.  She's my grand puppy and I'm kind of crazy over her too.  So I'm going to make the inside of this card as if it's coming from Trixie

 Here's a pic of Trixie in her raincoat.  I think she looks so adorable, but I don't think she feels the same way about the raincoat...smile.

A Mommy and Me pic taken a long time ago of me and my lovely daughter.  She doesn't look very happy in her pic either.  I use an over head light to take my pics so that's the reflection on her face.

My Mother's Day

Hope all the Mothers visiting my blog had a very nice Mother's day.

Mine was very nice, but It is a day of mixed feelings too.  I miss my Mother so much  I was so blessed to have her for a Mother, and I know I was loved...I also miss my Mother in law .  (I had lived next door to my Mother-in-law for over 30+ years)...we were very close.  Both of them gave me so many wonderful memories.  I was so blessed to have both of them in my life.

On Mother's day I found this on my pillow...

 Inside the beautifully decorated envelope was this card...

Notice all the pretty beads that were glued on...

 Other than knowing that my hubby  was using some of my embossing folders...I did not see him working on this card...so this was a complete surprise...Click on pictures to enlarge...

And this was my Mother's day present.  (My chair was broken)  Notice I am not showing my desk that is located to the right of this chair...It's a cluttered mess...(to be honest, it usually is...I clean it off but it doesn't stay that way for long...

Jim cooked a wonderful meal for me, and I was able to spend some time with my daughter and the grandchildren.  My daughter gave me a gift certificate so I can go shopping...

Mother's Day card for a friend

 I made this card as a Mother's Day card for a friend.  It's another card that I made using a Fabric image,  added Lace, Stampin' Up ribbon, and some dimensionals.

I'm not real happy with the way this card turned out...but after many tries of doing this card...This is as good as it gets.  I just hope the person that I am sending this card to...does like it...and Yes, It's very late...  But at least it's still MAY...smile...
My little girl on the card is stamped using a Holly Hobbie stamp...(A freebie stamp from a magazine)  It was colored with copics by my hubby.  Added a die cut fence...(Impression Obsession) I believe my Designer paper is from Stampin' UP, and the flowers stickers from K&C Company.

Mother's Day Card

I made this card for my daughter.  She has a Jack Russell/fox Terrier dog, Trixie.  Trixie was originally supposed to be my granddaughter's dog...but she bonded with my daughter, so she's now her dog.  Trixie's like her baby.  So I thought she might like a card that supposed to be from her dog.  Inside it reads...I woof you, and  i added a paw print.  The card is made with an image that is cut out of fabric, I added paw brads, and a ribbon.
