Card for Tuesday...

My husband colored this digi image for me with copics...Y11, Y15, YR15, G40, G0000, YG03, E08, G82, V01,V12, V15, C2, C3, T2, W1

I cut out my image with a Spellbinder die, but can't tell you the name, I borrowed it from my crafty friend, Cherie.  I also used an embossing folder for my background Stampin' Up Fancy fan.  I also used a Martha Stewart punch around the page...deco fan.  I colored my Stampin' Up ribbon with copics to match my flowers.

Coloring peel offs with copic markers

I made this card using peel offs.  I have used peel offs a lot on my cards, but never used copics with them.  It's a fun technique that My crafting buddy, Cherie showed me yesterday.  (Yes we managed to get together for a whole afternoon of crafting!!!!)  I also used one of my newly purchased dies for the pine branch.  The die is from Impression Obsession  DIE021-N.  My background was made by dry embossing a cuttlebug folder...(music notes)   added a sticker for the sentiment.

Waiting for her Prince Charming...

These cards were made with digi images that my husband found on the Internet...at a Free coloring book pages site...(and again I forgot to look up the link...I will try to add it later when I find it...)
He colored the images for me with copics.

The first image reminded me a little bit like Cinderella waiting for her Prince Charming.

Sorry, I have not been around lately...Many reasons for my absence, Computer problems...busy with appointments and away from home for a couple of days...

My computer is old and when I started having problems a few days ago...I thought it bit the dust...but my "handy" hubby worked on my computer and it seems to be okay now.

I will try to catch up on my visiting when I can...

Card for Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge

I goofed when I entered my card yesterday.  I didn't realize till after I made my card and posted it...
For the challenge you are to use only Our Daily Bread stamps...My main image was made with an
Our Daily Bread Stamp...but I grabbed another stamp for the sentiment...

So this is my second attempt for the challenge.  This time I used ONLY ODBD stamps...smile.

I guess I don't follow instructions very well.  The stamp I used is "Fishers of men"

colored with copics...YR24, RV29, Y21, Rv245,YG07, E35.  E34, E08, C0, E33, B91, C3 C0, YR24, E29, E70,W3

The background was made using a cuttlebug embossing folder...Distressed Stripes,
and cut out with a spellbinder die   Labels 10   added brads, and a denim ribbon.

World Card Making Day 2013

I was determined to make a card for World Card making day...and I managed to finally get a Challenge card done...It's been a couple of weeks...Since I've done that!  Yikes!

My card is for two challenges.  The challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs,  to make a card using ODBD stamps.  My card uses the Small ornament stamp made by ODBD, I stamped it in Versamark, and then heat embossed it with Ranger White embossing powder.  I sponged the blue on with Tim Holtz Distress inks...and cut it out with a matching spellbinder die.  My background was made with a cuttlebug embossing folder (Swiss dots)  added a silver bow two stickers and a stick on bead.

The second challenge is for the Twisted Sister challenge at Split coast Stampers...Sillyfilly (Sylvia)
Issued us a challenge to make a Christmas card.  Good one, because I need to get back to making more Christmas cards.

Embossed Birthday Card for a Friend

I made this card for a friend for her birthday...
It was made using a cuttlebug embossing folder for the background (Stylized flowers)
Spellbinders Shapeabilities die for the Dragon fly...(fanciful Flight)
and the dragonfly was colored first with Tim Holtz distress inks, and heat embossed with
embossing powder (Ranger, turquoise, green embossing tinsel, and Stampin' Up Gold.
I also added brads, and a dragonfly charm... My sentiment was stamped with a stamp from
JustRite stamps, "Just the Right Words"

Sorry, I have not been visiting as much.  I have not been feeling well, and a bit out of sorts.
And not much in the mood for making cards lately...(so you KNOW I have been sick...LOL!)

Since it's World card making today, I hope to make another card when I get off line...
