No cards made this week, it's just been too busy. I do have something to celebrate, My oldest friend , who is also the friend that I have had the longest...(since we were both in sixth grade together) had a birthday this week, and I had the opportunity to visit her in the hospital on her birthday! No, it's not where she wanted to be on her birthday. But after her being in ICU for several days, I am so happy that she is still able to celebrate her birthday. She almost didn't celebrate this one. We share so many memories...The pic below, is us as teenagers...(I'm the right on the right---yes, I used to be thin...) Happy Birthday, Geri! And Here's too many, many more!
Also, I celebrated my Mother's birthday, by taking a box of my greeting cards to the cancer center, where My Mother and I spent a lot of time together. I hated her having to go there and endure some of the painful treatments, but I never realized how much I would miss our time together there. We spent many hours chatting, and in one of those chats she asked me to take down a box of my greeting cards to the cancer center.I wanted to somehow celebrate her birthday in a positive way and I remembered that I had made that promise to her, and this week I finally kept my promise. I just hope they liked the cards. Happy Birthday, Mom!

I celebrated my best girlfriends birthday this week also and sent her a card she loved. We were friends since 7th grade and still stay in touch even though we live in different states. Your card was lovely for you daughters Anniv. I'm sure she'll love it too. Your mom's photo is adorable.
