Carol, of
Since, Carol, kindly told me that she received my card...I can now post it.
I have had the privilege of meeting Carol in real life, and seeing her beautiful work in real life. Her cards look fantastic and creative on line, but, believe me, they are even more so, when you see them in real life.
The sentiment is (on the outside of the card) The fun never stops...
and on the inside I put the fun never stops when you are crafting! So true...
I said in one of my posts how I was addicted to making these side steps cards (I think I have made about 20 of them in just the last few weeks). They are my Therapy...
Carol, responded in her comment that her hexagon cards are her Therapy...smile
so, You know, I had to send her one of my "therapy" cards!
I made the above card using images from paper wishes
and my border die is from Our Daily Bread Designs (Beautiful Borders)
the bird house is an Impression Obsession Die (DIE156-H)
and the fence is also an Impression obsession (DIE 034-U
Added stick on beads, and some ribbon

ReplyDeleteTake care, My friend...Blessings, Jill
Jill, how fortunate Carol (excellent name, by the way *grin*) and you are to have met in person, and then, to share this 'therapy' card you've created: utterly awesome! How lucky she is! Your side step card is gorgeous; something I've not yet tried, so I'll be on the search for tutorials. The images/colours are so lovely, and that butterfly...oh my! Swoon inducing! A fabulous card from one fabulous friend to another! Blessings, indeed!

ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Jill. I love birdhouses so that scene caught my eye immediately. I knew those kinds of cards were therapy for both of you and isn't it wonderful to have some crafting to help you relax? I've been crafting this week but it sure wasn't relaxing. I tried a new kind of card for me and it was a bit difficult doing it for the first time. Maybe I can upload it tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty, I love the birdhouse in the lovely garden.
