I made this card for a lady who was my Mother's friend for almost 60 years, and I know that she misses my Mother almost as much as I do. I wanted to make a special card for her birthday. I love Victorian looking cards and so does Carrie. My husband found this image on the Internet. (He doesn't remember where...He is forever searching public domain and free image sites...I tell him to write down the name of the site) Anyway, he colored the image for me (mainly the face) with copics. I used my spellbinder's die to cut it out, and added lace, flower, Martha Stewart butterfly (which I colored with copics) I added stick on pearls, and popped the image up with pop dots.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I hope you have a great weekend...
Blessings,
Jill

Card to Honor Korin
When I visited Split Coast Stampers I saw that Korin was chosen as Queen 4 the day. I knew I had to make a card...(my Craft room pack up could wait...LOL) I used one of Korin's stamps...from Sweet 'N Sassy stamps. Congratulations Korin...

I love spring!
Spring is definitely my favorite season....(even though, I have a hard time with my allergies) I took this pic through my bedroom window. (Yes, we are very close to our neighbor's house) My window needs some cleaning. (the outside, I just cleaned the inside, honest) LOL
Speaking of cleaning, No cards this week...still working on my endless job of packing up my craft room. I don't feel like I am getting anywhere.
Hope everyone has a good day... Blessings to you, Jill

Late for the teaparty
The picture below is the inspiration teapot we were to use to make our card...
This is a card I made for LAST week's teapot challenge, Yes I am a bit late, but I was stuck as what to to to make a card...but last night, while I was packing up my craft room (an endless job...at least it seems that way...smile. I found some cute fabric with playing cards. Of course, I had even forgotten that I had something like that. It inspired me to sit down and try and make a card for the challenge...

I used fabric for the cards, Cuttlebug hearts embossing folder for the background, EK success punch for the border, added ribbon, and popped my image up with pop dots...

Baby Boy card
Needed to make a quick baby card. I used an image that my husband colored with copics---
the stamp is unknown. I had stamped this a while back when I had a really fun day getting together with a group of stampers at a scrapbook store.
The designer paper is from October Afternoon, the top of the card is embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder (Swiss Dots) and I added a ribbon , sticker, and some pop dots to pop up the image.

Spring is coming
It won't be too much longer and my favorite season will be here! I thought this card looked like spring! I enjoyed the technique that I used on my card yesterday so much that I had to use that technique again.
My center fold card was made using a digi image from Squigglefly, My score-pal, cuttlebug embossing folder for my side images, added brads, pop dots, and a purchased flower

MMTPT188 Teapot Tuesday Challenge for this week
The is my challenge card for this week's challenge at Split Coast Stampers for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge. Our card was supposed to have a cat, books, jewels, or something with Royalty on it.
I only have one small cat stamp...so I decided to use this image for my card. Details for the challenge can be sound here
My card is a center step card, and I used the tutorial to make this card from a tutorial at Split coast stampers. The link for the tutorial can be found here.
My husband found the image that I used, it was black and white, and he colored it for me using copics. The sides of my cards were made using blue metallic paper and I embossed it using my Cuttlebug, using the Textile embossing folder, I then heat embossed using Versamark and gold embossing powder. I added a row of lace with attached beads to the bottom, and ribbon, butterfly sticker, and score-pal to score my card folds for the center step card.
