This the card I posted at the February Challenge at Split Coast stampers for the Christmas Challenge.
The theme for February was Carolers.
This was the only image I could find to fit the theme.
It was made using a metal die that was made by Dreamweaver (no longer in business) I miss that web site that they had. I entered quite a few of their challenges and won quite of few of the metal dies. Most of the images I di with embossing paste...but, since, I haven't done that in a while. I think most of my pastes are probably dried out by now...(I did have to get rid of quite a few the last time I cleaned out that drawer.
Thank you for stopping by blog today.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
Blessings,
Jill

thank you for visiting my blog today! I always love to have new visitors! So I thought I should return the favor and visit you! You certainly do beautiful work on your cards. I have a dear friend in Georgia who does these kinds of cards, and I've been so blessed to have been gifted with an assortment of them to send to people. It certainly takes a lot of patience and skill to create such lovely cards. I am certain those who receive them feel very honored. Thank you again for your visit! I look forward to getting to know you better in the future. Have a blessed weekend.

That's a great stencil, and it made a lovely card. I really love using stencils. I have a few pastes and need to use them more often.
ReplyDeleteHi Jill - This is a great way to use a stencil - and you should check those embossing pastes of yours. I have some that is still usable and it's got to be almost 20 years old. I got it at one of the first shows I went to!
ReplyDeleteI vaguely remember that Dreamweaver site but so very many of those great stores have closed through the years that it's hard to remember them. Great image for Caroling too.
ReplyDeleteHi Jill
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good weekend!
Great image for the challenge.
Oh dear .. .. I had better check my pastes before I pack them away. Some of mine haven't seen the light of day for a while now .. .. thanks for the reminder to use "and" check them!!
Have a good week.
