I made these two cards for the twisted Sister Challenge at Split Coast Stampers for the March Challenge.
I just hope I got the challenge correct.. I understood it as I had to make my cards with the same materials. and make it a card that could be duplicated many times if you wanted to.
I don't think that is exactly what she said...but that is how I interpreted it. As they say on the website there's no Challenge police.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend...
Hubby and I just stayed inside today...didn't need to go anywhere, and I didn't feel like getting wet. (And the way it was raining it may have been getting VERY wet!
Here's hoping for Sunny skies for everyone.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today.
Blessings,
Jill

Sweet cards. I love the DSP you chose, and that little elephant is so cute.
ReplyDeleteA great layout Jill, and both cards would be easily duplicated. Love the teddy bear one for a child, and the other could easily 'translate' to a sympathy card also.

Those blue and yellow colors look great together and each card has it's own unique look with using the same materials. The flower is elegant and the elephant with the balloons is as cute as a button. Great take on the challenge.
ReplyDeleteThey are both so sweet, Jill xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe first one is just beautiful and the second is just the cutest, no matter if you did them right they both turned out fantastic :)
ReplyDeleteWe have had rain and cloudy days but today we are seeing the sun pop out!
I don't know if you got the challenge right, Jill, but I sure do love how you perfectly made these designs to fit your understanding of it. The TOY card is so feminine and pretty and the elephant card is simply adorable! Happy Easter to you both! Hope you have a sunny - or at least a dry - Sunday! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteBoth cards turned out beautifully, and it's always exciting to see different interpretations of the challenge theme. Staying cozy indoors sounds like the perfect way to spend a rainy day.
