Panel Pull Out card

I saw this tutorial at Split Coast Stampers and immediately knew I wanted to give it a try...
It really is a fun fold, and easy to do.  I used papers from my Christmas Hunky Dory kit.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope my USA friends are having a very special Thanksgiving.

Our Thanksgiving was very special we spent it with our daughter who cooked us a very special meal.
I hate to admit this but my daughter is a much better cook than I am.  She even volunteered to cook our meal today...even though it was her Birthday!

I didn't give her a cake, but on this card my little charm in the middle of the card is a birthday cake...and I know you can't see it that well...but it does read Happy birthday on it.

I made the card using a quilt die made by Our Daily Bread Designs.  Some of background paper also came from Our Daily Bread Designs.

I think the thing I was most thankful for today, was spending time with our daughter.
Especially since it was also her birthday.  She is such a blessing to us.

Merry Monday Santa Clause

 I made this card for this week's Merry Monday challenge...You can find the link to the challenge here...

I made my card using a Santa cut out of fabric.  I mounted him on a piece of Whisper White card stock which I embossed using a Stampin' Up embossing folder for my border.  I then made a frame using Designer paper from American Crafts.  I stamped my sentiment with Memento (Teal Zeal) ink.  I used a stamp made by Cloud 9 Designs.

I made the above cards using a kit I purchased made by Hunkydory.  I made a lot more cards using the kit which I hope to post later.  The above cards were made pretty much like the samples they had in the magazine that came with the kit.  

I'm sorry that I have not been around too much lately.  I'm been trying to get my Christmas cards done.  I'm almost coming to the finish line.  The Merry Monday challenge has been a big help with keeping me motivated throughout the year.  Thank you so much for the Challenge.

Birthday card for a friend

I made this birthday card for my friend's Mother for her surprise birthday party.
I used an image my hubby had colored with copics many years ago.  I believe the image came from a stamp that I had used at a local craft store so I don't know the name of the stamp.

Sympathy card made with Dream Weaver Stencil

I needed to make a sympathy card, and I went looking for an image to use that had been colored with copics by my hubby.  I had mentioned before that I have a whole book full of images colored by my hubby that I use for cards.  I am so behind in using them.  I thought that this image would be appropriate for a sympathy card.  I wanted to post the card before this but I could not find the STAMP that he used.  I finally realized that it wasn't a stamp but a stencil from Dreamweaver!

 I added a sentiment using a die cut from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
