Still going down Memory Lane....This was one of my favorite cards from the Year 2010. It's an Easel card.
This card was made using a metal template where you had to go in with an exato Knife and cut each cut line by hand.
I like today's dies so much better.
I guess you might be wondering why I am posting old cards. I seem to have lost my mo jo for making cards. (It's probably because I'm so behind with all the kinds I need to still make.)
I thought that maybe looking at some old cards might get me into doing cards again.
Thank you for looking and thank you for going down memory lane with me.
Blessings, Jill

Creative and so much beauty in this design, love seeing what you make xx
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card, but oh the work it took to make it! I also would prefer dies to cutting lines with an exacto knife. I occasionally go back and look at my cards from years ago to get my mojo restarted too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.

So much work involved in creating this beauty, but so worth it! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Jill
ReplyDeleteOh my .. .. .. that was a lot of precision cutting you did there! A real labour of love!
We are very spoilt with our dies now aren't we in comparison.
I think it is nice to look back on our old creations. If only to remind us what crafty things we will have squirrelled away!
I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas and wish you all the very best for 2024.
Love Jules xx
wow that is amazing, that would be so much work to cut, I am appreciative of dies we have now :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card from 2010. Love the technique.
ReplyDeleteBack in the early days of card making, we used our exacto knives all the time to make cards. Now I barely touch mine, but this is lovely and I'm betting that doily beneath it was hand-made also. Very pretty.
