I know here we go again cards previously posted!.
As I said before, I am having fun with this.
I had forgotten that I had even made some of these cards.
This a card techniques is one that I hope to do this week.I made several of these cards after watching a video on
Jennifer McGuire's website. She was showing how to use Distress Oxide inks for backgrounds.
I would sometimes send a bracelet along with my card as a memory bracelet.
2018 was the year that I had fun making Twist and fold cards. I counted on my blog that I had made at least 8 of them. I was enjoying making them...but I did find them bit time consuming. (no I never did buy the die you could buy that would cut out all the pieces for you. Would have made it so much easier, but It wasn't in my budget!..
There is instructions on how to do them in the tutorial section at Split coast Stampers.
Inlay. I actually put all those little pieces in the tea pot with tweezers.
Thank you, Jules for the comment you made on my blog.
Jules said that it's good to go back and look at things you have made in the past...because it helps you to remember some of the things that in your craft room that you have NOT used for while. It is probably not her exact words. (but I found them to be very profound) And It also gives me a legitimate reason for my craziness right now...smile.
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
Blessings,
Jill

A lovely look down your memory lane. Gosh you needed a lot of patience on the last card inlaying the design on the teapot but it was worth the result. Hugs Mrs a.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty
ReplyDeleteYou showed such a nice assortment of techniques in today's cards. The teapot card is so pretty, but I love the other cards, too.
ReplyDeletewow, they are all beautiful. Love the ink blending on the first one.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards Jill, a lovely selection, Kate x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I bought the die to do the twist and fold and I think I have only used it twice. Pretty ink blending on the first. Lovely flowers on the second, and love the lace with your tea pot on the last one!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful selection Jill - I agree that looking back can not only bring memories of cards made, blogged and forgotten, but also forgotten techniques

Great cards and great memories too. Looking back is always fun.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on that top card. It makes for a great scene for the die cut. And the die cut in the last card is one I don't own but was lucky enough for a friend to send me some. It makes some really wonderful cards.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! xoxo
