The challenge for this month at the Twisted Sister Challenge at Split coast... was to make something for the theme "Vintage!"
The theme had me stuck and then I spotted some Designers Paper That looked a little bit like fabric. I got out my Apron die and used that paper. Apron's are kind of vintage. I still have one that I sewed many years ago. (wouldn't know how to use my machine now) But don't ask me how long it's been since I wore it.
Hubby took me out to breakfast as promised.. and then I came home and received a text from one of my neighbors she wanted to come and visit. She is one of the neighbors who used to come and make cards with me a lot. Today she had time to make a card. I almost forgot how much fun it was crafting with her. (I think I got her interested and wants to try again soon.
Thank you for visiting my blog
Blessings,
Jill

ReplyDeleteThis is a great vintage Apron card. I love the wonderful papers.
ReplyDeleteYour vintage apron is so pretty, love the papers you used. So nice you were able to go out for breakfast and have a fun day of making cards with your neighbor!
ReplyDeleteAnother beauty xoxo
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I wore an apron, but my 2 grandmothers always wore one, so this is a blast from the past. Great vintage creation.
ReplyDeleteHi Jill - it's been quite awhile! I'm glad to see you are still making cards. I have a friend who visits from Florida twice a year and we always spend the day making cards. It's the best times we've had in a long time and also - productive! I hope the spark you lit in your friend stays burning and you get to craft together many more times!
ReplyDeleteI am privileged to be your critic, not that you need one, and always amazed at how professional your cards are. This one was sweet and vintage. I remember the apron days. Still wear one once in awhile.
