I made two more cards using the Hunkydory paper that my husband ordered for me for a Christmas present.
I really enjoy using this paper. I think there papers are so elegant and pretty!
I gave up doing the VSN challenges at SplitCoast. I like to paper craft because it usually relaxes me. Having to make cards in a time limit...does not. and right now my stress level is at the top and I don't need to add to it. I do like to do challenges though, they are a great way to learn how to do new techniques.

ReplyDeleteI am with you I do cardmaking because it is so enjoyable and hopefully brings some enjoyment to those who receive them, doing something that stresses me would not make the process enjoyable anymore, that is why I decided not to sell my cards, it was making it more work than fun and relaxing.

In my case I need to proof read more often...smile.
I especially do it when I text...auto correct always makes it even worse.
GORGEOUS cards, Jill. Love the images, gold, and sketch. Fab job. I had to give up those blitz challenges too - my art is for relaxing and creating and not churning out numbers. Many hugz!!!!

ReplyDeleteOh my these papers are amazing. I am sorry you gave up doing the VSN challenges. We actually had a zoom call on one of the challenges and got to connect and chat with a few wonderful ladies. I think that is why I love doing the VSN challenges is to see if anyone does a zoom call so we can all connect. LOL! Yes I Could craft but those zoom calls are so much fun getting to know some wonderful crafty friends. :)
