I made this card for a blogging friend who is also a fellow Split Coast Stamper.
Now that she has told me that she recieved her card...I can post it.
The card was made using some more of the Hunkydory papers that I had.
I learned a lesson with this card. Connie's card that she received would look a bit different because I had to try and cut down the top of the card abit. It would NOT fit in my envelope, and I could not find any envelopes that I had that I could put it in. The card was already going in the mail late. So I did not want to take the time to try and make an envelope that it might fit in.
So now I know that I have to make sure I have an envelope that the card will fit it. (Or modify my card from the get go). smile
Thank you for visiting my blog

Jill

Love this elegant card Jill - and I know the frustration of making a slightly irregular shaped card and not being able to find an appropriate sized envelope!!

Stunning Hunkeydory paper and I love that you let the design hang over the top of the card. I know what you mean about not having the right size envelopes for cards. I usually do A2 and when I make one that is slightly larger I have to go digging for a bigger envelope.
ReplyDeleteI just loved it as you know, so gorgeous, and you know I didn't even realize you had to cut it down to fit, you did a great job!!
