I made three cards today...but none of these are the card I originally started out making...smile
I was trying to make a card for a challenge...but it's till in the beginning stage...(after several attempts) So I wouldn't feel like the time was a complete failure...I tried doing something else and fortunately that something else...resulted in three more cards.
My first card was made using my Spellbinders scalloped borders die 2. When I first bought this die...it sat in my drawer for a while...it kind of intimidated me...wasn't sure what to do with it or how to use it. Now I'm glad I got over that fear...so far, I've used it 5 times and I'm sure it will be one of those dies that will be used a lot and become a favorite.
The second card is yet another Side step card. I think this card fold is so much fun to embellish. I used some more Paper wishes "freebie" papers to make this card, and a stamped bear image (unknown) that my hubby colored with copics.
The third card was made with my Sizzix framelit die....Card circle flip it's 2 Added a bow, sticker, and die cut lace.

but it keeps getting harder to find one."
Thank you for visiting my blog today

Simply Paper Card Design
Oh, my gosh, Jill, these are all three outstanding. From my skill level, they are definitely NOT quick cards! Now some of my QACAS cards? Now those are quick, lol! Your's take time and skill and talent and you've executed them beautifully, even if they did turn out differently than you first imagined. (I love when that happens!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your sweet note! You're very welcome. I hope you both are doing great!! Hugs, Darnell
Jill....love them all your so clever with the different designs wish I had some of your coloring talent. Hugs Deloris
ReplyDeleteOh I know how you feel when it comes to working on challenge cards... i have several "in progress" that probably won't even make the challenge deadlines! Love your projects!

ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous group of cards, Jill. I love the dies on the first and last cards and the paper is so pretty on that last card. Your side step is just cute as can be...you have really mastered that technique.
ReplyDeleteSimply the best, each so elegant and charming in their own right! Isn't it wonderful how our creative process takes us from it was meant to be this to it turned out to be that! What a great trio to behold with these beauties! Blessings!
