My Word of The Year

 My Word for this year is...


HOPE


"Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness..."

This is the 8th year that I have chosen a word for the year.

In the past I have chosen

Faith

Joy

Focus

Breathe

Believe

Persevere

Bloom


Some years the word really worked for me...other years not so much..

The ones that worked the best for me were

Believe, and Breathe


Happy New Year.  Hope this is a better year for all of us!

    Hope is my favorite word every year. I have had a few life altering moments in life that only HOPE has seen me through. It's a good word! Wishing you a safe 2021!

    What a wonderful idea. The word Breathe speaks to me this year. All I have to do is Breathe and make it through!

    Hi Jill

    What a fabulous idea .. .. I love the thought of an inspirational word to keep yourself going through the year. If I had to choose one for this year it would be "persevere". But really we do all need "hope" at the moment.

    I hope you had a really good Christmas and send you good wishes for 2021.

    Wonderful word Jill, and hope is so essential when times are difficult. Not all my various words have 'worked' for me either. I have had peace and joy amongst others - this year it is rest!

    I think you've chosen the best word of all for this coming year. It's difficult to lose hope when so many things have gone wrong, but hope somehow always remains. Happy New Year!
