NBUS Challenge number 4 My third Card

 Click on card to enlarge
I made this card for Darnell's NBUS Challenge.  This is Darnell's 4th Challenge, and I have entered every one of her Challenges, (In fact, I was one of the fortunate ones to win a prize in her first challenge).   This is my third entry for this challenge, and it's the first time that I have entered 3 cards in her challenge.  Usually it was one or two.

The challenge can be found here...

Again, thank you so much, Darnell, for your wonderful challenges, and encouraging all of us
to use our NBUS.   I know I needed the push to get out some of my items in my craft room
that had not been used before.  (Like this 4 year old stamp)
********************************************************************

I thought that this would be a quick 5 minute card to make   NOT!!!

My NBUS item is my stamp!  I purchased the set at a stamp show FOUR years ago, and I am finally getting around to using it.  I lost the topper to the package, but I think it said that stamp is made by Hampton Arts ?

My hubby colored her face with Copics for me...R11, R29, R00, R000, RV000, T5
I paper pieced her hat and dress using Designer paper from Grapic 45, (Botanical Tea Collection)
I cut out the image using a Spellbinder die   Nestabilities, Classic Ovals Large.
I added some Vellum to the background, lace, ribbon, brads, and a rose from my stash.

I want to welcome another new follower, Sofia,

I found Sofia's blog because of the pretty card she made for Darnell's challenge
Sofia is a brand new blogger so please stop by and give her a welcome to
blogland.

Darnell, I wanted to add this quote to the second card that I had added to your challenge.
the sunshine card that I made...And I forgot about this quote...

But this quote is for you.
"Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others
cannot keep it from themselves."
~J.M. Barrie

I just hope that all the sunshine you bring to others...with your generosity,
lovely comments, and caring support you give to others...
is reflected back to you...

Blessings,
Jill

Congratulations to you!

  26. First of all, Jill, I apologize for being so late in coming to comment and thank you for playing for the third time in my NBUS Challenge #4. Life and Easter company got in my way this time, but I really appreciate that you came out to play with me and for all your very kind compliments and NBUS enthusiasm!

Your pretty lady is sensational! And I mean "lady" in every sense of the way women used to be ladies. Ah, how I wish I lived then when women wore hats and gloves. I would have loved this outfit you and Jim made! (Hi, Jim!)

Thank you, too, for the beautiful quote - it make me blush. You are a bearer of sunshine, too, you know! I didn't fail to notice that you commented on most, if not all, of the NBUS entries this time - and way earlier than I did. Thanks again, my friend!! Big hugs, Darnell
