It's Tuesday, and it's time for another Teapot Tuesday, Those of you who follow my blog...will probably guess by now, that it's one of my favorite challenges. I love seeing all the fancy teapots, and beautiful cards everyone is inspired to do looking at the great teapots...(and there is always so many great stories to go with the teapot...
My card was supposed to be a blue butterfly, but it just didn't go right for me, and it ended up yellow. I blame it on the cooler weather we have been having, it made me think of Autumn...smile. I stamped my butterfly in Versamark, then heat embossed in Ranger black embossing powder, I then colored my butterfly with Marvy markers. I mounted my butterfly with pop dots on a frame I hand cut with a stencil (open passee-partouts) frame EH1813.
I cut out the corners with an exacto knife and put designer paper behind the fame, and
then punched the corners with a stamping up ticket punch.
WOW! What a beauty! You hand cut that beautiful frame? My gosh, Jill, you must have patience, the whole card is WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeleteI see Cherie has been teaching you to cut with a stencil! This is truly a work of art with all that intricate work! Your card is just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely card Jill! I like the way you used a marker instead of embossing on part of the frame. You have me thinking now!
