Well it's Tuesday, so it must be time for another Teapot challenge...
this week our inspiration teapot has a cute dogie on it...
so our cards were to have a cute dog and tree (s) or our card...
you can read about the challenge here..
My card will be going to Rachel who was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer...
My card was done with a Stampin' Up stamp from D is for Dog...
I heat embossed my dog with bronze embossing powder, and stamped a tree with a rubber stamp from All night Media...My dog house was Iris folded, and the paper I used on my card was from stampin' up (Blueberry Crisp) I sponged my sky/clouds with a Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger "broken china" added pop dots and a brown and white gingham ribbon.
Aawww, CUTE card, and sure to cheer up the recipient!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card Jill. I love the way you used iris folding for the doghouse!
ReplyDeleteJill, you're just a genius at iris folding! They are so perfect! Beautiful card, love that sweet dog and the whole layout. Oh my, I feel so bad for your friend Rachel, but she will adore your card! I'll keep her and you in my heart.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on this, along with that great ribbon and bow! You always do such a wonderful job with iris folding and this card is sure to lift Rachel's spirits when she receives it!
ReplyDeleteThis card is just so wonderful but I am so sorry about the reason behind it. I have never seen iris folding before but it is just FABULOUS!
