I'm posting this a bit late (My computer reads that it is Wednesday not Tuesday. Smile...
But I was gone from my house most of the day...so this is the first chance I had to make a card
and post it at Split Coast Stampers. Today's theme is fishing...you can read about the challenge here...
We were to make a card for Dante, an 8 year old boy who is recovering from bone marrow transplant surgery.
My fishing card is more suited for someone older so I will save this one to send to someone later...but it did fit today's theme. I will sent Dante another card that is more suited to an 8 year old.
Cool! Jonathan has been learning to fly fish and finally had a good time catching fish the last time he was out with my brother.
ReplyDeleteGreat card!
Thanks for the sweet comment yesterday. Sigh...things are slightly improved since then but we are in for a long recovery with Chelsea's anorexia, I think. Then Mikey was having gushing bloody noses and they called me from his work so there was an emergency dr appt for him and Warren is having pain that pain pills don't touch. I was feeling over my head! I appreciate the concern and encouragement.
Awesome fishing card! Love how the fish is out of the box!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card for a man. Love it!
ReplyDeleteJill this is a fabulous masculine card!

Jill, I LOVE your fishing card! Since I'm a fishing fanatic, your scene is dear to my heart!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, my friend! Oh, and as to the lattice die, here's a hint after my card making fiasco...as you cut the different colors, don't break them apart, like I did, just lay them flat and then you'll know what piece fits where.
Would have cut over an hour out of my time...groan!
That is a beautiful card. My father-in-law would love it as he loves fishing!
