I'm still trying to use my new Stampin Up goodies.  

I know that this card seems a bit strange, a flower in the front and a tree  that looks like it has snow.  I showed to my hubby and he said,  "Well, sometimes we get a late snow when flowers are blooming..."   Ok, I'll take that as my story...for this card.

Two more card for my stash.

I made two more cards for my stash pile (which was really getting low).

The first card is a center fold...(One of my favorite folds) and the second card is Box card.  (Untie the ribbon and it opens into a box to put a gift card, etc, inside.

Easel card

I made the above card for my sister using Some "Freebie" embellishments from Paper Wishes.
My doily was made using a spellbinder die.  I added stickles to the ice cream cone. The sentiment was stamped with a Stampendous stamp.

I recently saw on the CCEE stampers blog...that they were showing fun fold cards...so it inspired me to make my ice cream card using an easel fold.  I really enjoy doing fun folds.  It doesn't take much to encourage me to make a fun fold.

Butterfly fun fold card

I watched Jennifer Mc Guire's UTube video on how to make a new fun fold (new to me anyway)
I like how the card opens in the middle.  I need to add a sentiment to the front which I will
do before I give the card to someone

I used a stamp with a matching die set that was a gift to me from my crafting buddies, Cherie and Kathi...  The set was made by Prickley Pear  
I embossed the stamped images with gold embossing powder over some designer paper that Kathi gave to me.  added some peel offs along the side of the card
