I made this card for a dear long time friend of mine.
It's a bit late because she was going to come to my house to visit...and we still haven't managed to get together yet.
Many years ago, we were next door neighbors and we would see each other almost every day. You can probably guess by this card that my friend is a quilter! A very good one! We sued to get together and craft together. It was NOT making cards though. It was for crocheting and knitting. If fact she knitted me an afghan That I still have laying on top of one of my chairs.
As I am typing this post...it's reminding to give her another call and try again for another get together.
Thank you for visiting my blog today,
Blessings,
Jill

Jill, this is so (sew) pretty and I know your friend is going to love it. I really like the mix of patterned paper you used. Great card!

What a sweet and fun card for someone who sews! She'll love this with those tiny scissors!
ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous and she is going to love it!
ReplyDeleteI love this card! Did you actually sew the squares onto the card base? The stitches look so perfectly even. It's a fun mix of patterns, too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderfully pieced card Jill, and I do love the gently punny sentiment:), so appropriate for a quilter
