This is a card I helped my neighbor to make for her husband's birthday.
She gave me permission to post her card. It was made with a new stamp set I purchased. (Stampendous)
Their two doggies (which I'm crazy about too...are like their children) (I'm sure many of you can relate to that)
Tomorrow I hope to be able to finally sit down again and make some more of my own cards.
I am just so thankful that I can even type again. More info than you might want to know....
Hubby had to take me to the ER because of the pain in my right arm. (I could not even lift my arm without having a great deal of pain). I tried typing on my blog, etc. with my left hand...and it was really slow going.
The good news for me is, obviously, since I am typing this... It means that my arm is doing so better. Thanks to pain pills and an injection.
Now I need to catch up with my commenting again.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog
Blessings,
jill

How fun to have made this cute card with your friend! they are so cute and I like the wood on it, and how it looks like they are peeking over the fence.
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear your arm is doing better, hope the healing continues for you!
Jill, I'm so glad your pain has eased. I hope it continues to get better This "aging bodies" stuff is for the birds, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteYour doggy card is just great, and I'm sure your neighbor's husband loved it. I can imagine your neighbor thanks her lucky stars she has a veteran cardmaker living next door!
Oh Jill - that sounds very painful - so glad it is now under control and you are back blogging
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card also - I'm not a 'doggy' person, but i can sure appreciate your fabulous construction - love the inside - that is quite a surprise after the 'sedate' exterior.
Blessings

Love the card, Jill. So glad you're feeling better xoxo
ReplyDeleteI hope you are back to normal very soon...with no pain. I broke my left shoulder many years ago. I was always thankful that at least it wasn't my right since I'm right handed. Such a cute card. Love the cute dogs Its so nice of you to help out your neighbor.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute card you and your neighbor made. Cute, cute dogs! Love it.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your arm and glad everything seems to be better now. Very scary when something like that happens I know!

I have to say I have those puppies and have never used them. I have the die cut too and I used that to create a stencil. LOL! Funny how we use our supplies so different than the original intension. I love your cute puppies looking over the fence. I am sure your neighbor loved making a personal card for her hubby.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your arm but glad they were able to do something to alleviate the pain! Cute card with the doggies too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling card Jill! I love that you helped your neighbor make a card for her hubby. And such a cute one at that! Yep, I an relate to the doggies being like children. I call them "the kids". LOL They are like children to so many of us. Oh goodness, I am sure glad that your arm/shoulder is working again. Nothing worse than having a part of the body that is paining you and won't work! I'm sure you are very thankful for the pain meds and the injection. I remember well my frozen shoulder and all the pain from it. It was almost two years before I regained the use of that shoulder and arm and that was with injections and 10 weeks of PT! Funny how one can take for granted moving body parts until all of a sudden they don't move. Now I hope your shoulder/arm stays well! Hugs and Blessings, Brenda
