Finally, I made a card! It's been a while!
I made this card using Stampin' Up's Symbols of Fortune designer paper. I used a helpful technique posted on Split coast stampers...for helping me to put on my letters.
Aligning Letter dies...
https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/aligningletterdies/
I used Dina's suggestion of using press and seal to help keep the letters nice and straight. I would never of thought to use press and seal for this technique.
I'm not sure where I orginally found the plane template that I used. I actually made a card many years ago using the template and then I cased my old card.
I am going to try and catch up and start visiting blogs again...It may take me a little time to catch up...but I am going to try.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
Blessings,
Jill

ReplyDeleteGood to see you posting again, this is too cute, like the sky background to your plane and neat personalizing on it, yes I have tried lining up with press and seal and it works pretty well.
ReplyDeleteI love this. I hope you’re doing well today. Sending hugs. Regine

What a cool card for your grandson Jill! I love the cool paper you used but I really love that plane! I also love how you put his name on the plane wing, very fun-kids love seeing their name on things! No worries about trying to catch up, we all get behind, especially me! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLove this card. So cute! I haven't visited blogs in ages. I've been so busy with homeschooling. I only have four more days and then they go back to "real" school. I am so looking forward to having time to myself again. I hope you have been well.
ReplyDeleteTerrific plane and great job lining up those letters. I need to try the press and seal technique for lining up letters.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see you again Jill, your card is fabulous - a super background and great image.
