Birthday card for my son-in-law. and, yes, he is a pretty "handy" guy to have around the house.
I'm dating myself again with this card. I'm sure a lot of people looking at the inside of the card would not of ever heard of RED GREEN! He had a TV show about 20 years ago. It was on the PBS station. My Hubby loved that show. and so did his DAD! We would go to my in-laws house on a Saturday night to watch the show with them.
Later years, our son in-law would watch some of the shows with us at our house. So I thought these "Sticker" tools would make a great card for him. Along with Red Green's favorite saying on the inside of the card.
My son-in-law put up my daughter's kitchen cabinets, and has fixed a lot of things around their house.
Our daughter gave her Dad a lot of CD's for Christmas of some of the old Red Green shows. (so we will be watching a lot more of those shows)
Thank you for visiting my blog today...
Blessings,
Jill

ReplyDeleteGreat job with the tools, I had to laugh at the inside sentiment... I had not heard of that show and we watched a lot of PBS in our home, I do know that each area can air what shows they want so maybe it wasn't in our area. He will love this I am sure!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card for your SIL Jill! I've not heard of this tv show you talk about. This Old House is what we watched on the weekends all the time. Never heard of Red Green, but sure do love the ending sentiment from the show! My late hubby was very handy too and he put in my whole kitchen, redid the electric in our house, took walls down, fixed everything, etc...I've been lost without him as I didn't even know who to call at first after he passed cause we never had to call anyone. Hubby did it all. Glady your daughter has a handy husband and I know he adored his birthday card! Hugs and blessings, Brenda
