This telephone card was made using a die cut that was sent to me by Darnell (you can see her blog on my side bar) Thank you again Darnell) . My hubby cut out all the little numbers and glued them on for me... (It took a long time to do that. He, obviously, had a lot more patience than I have.)
Hopefully, I didn't post this before, because I made the card several weeks ago. At least I don't remember posting it. I made the card to put in th memory ablum I had made in honor of the dear friend I lost in January. Carol and I would chat on the phone together a lot. Especially when we had to shelter in place.
I was always so thankful for those phone calls. We could talk about so many different things, and almost always we would have something to laugh about. It just seemed like this would make a great card for the book that I made for my friend's dauhgter. I made it for the last page.
Thank you for visiting my blog today,
Blessings,
Jill

Fabulous now you can call anyone you like. xx

ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful when our hubbies help us make cards. Mine helped me with making very small pictures for a couple of my cards for graduations and I am so thankful for his help because I am not sure I could have managed it. Super cute telephone.
ReplyDeleteA blessing. Hugs to you.

A wonderful card for the final page of your book to remember all the phone calls you exchanged! I wish the world still had phones like this today - they WORKED!
ReplyDeleteOh your hubby is quite the sweety for cutting out all those numbers, love the old fashion phone. Brings you great memories that is always a nice thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful card Jill - that is a very old style phone, but looks great on the card. How great you and Jim can work on a card together!

I love this! I am so sorry about the loss of your friend. You are wonderful to make a book for her daughter. I'm sure she will absolutely love all the memories. I have to get my husband going on some projects. Maybe, I can teach him to use my Cameo 4. That's something I like having the cuts from, but hate doing it myself.
ReplyDeleteI love it when my DH helps with my cards. Yours did a great job with those little numbers. Cute phone too.
ReplyDeleteHi Jill
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card for that special memory album .. .. and very fitting that it was saved for the very last page. A great reminder of the happiness speaking to another can and will have brought to you both.
A great die and great work by your hubby in creating those tiny numbers!
Hope all is well with you.
Love Jules xx
Hope you’re doing well.
