First up is a card from a dear on line friend that I had the privilege of meeting in person because of us both blogging. (So glad I found blogland).
Carol's wonderful cards can be found here...
No, Darnell did NOT send me a card with the sentiment upside down.
It was me who photographed it upside and didn't even realize it till I went to post it...
If you would have seen our (Not so great week last week) and my problems with my camera
and computer before I posted these cards....smile... You would understand! Maybe I can
blame it on yesterday's. HEAT! It was unseasonably warm and we don't have Central Air and
got caught off guard with no air conditioners or fans in windows yet! (needless to say we didn't sleep too well last night... (maybe that's why I'm more fuzzy headed than usual)?
Darnells' wonderful (and sometimes funny) blog can be found here...
Em's very creative cards can be found on her blog here...
You can find Leanne's Lovely blog here...
gifted card maker. Sue does not have a blog...but she has a wonderful card gallery on
Split Coast Stampers...You can find her cards here...
Thank you ladies for helping to make my special day even more special.
You certainly brightened up my day...
Thank you for visiting my blog today..
Blessings,
Jill

Beautiful array of cards, and I hope your birthday was fun ;)
ReplyDeleteBelated happy birthday, and what lovely cards xxx
ReplyDeleteHaha, I thought maybe I had sent you one of my Big Fat Boo Boo cards, Jill! Happy Birthday today and thank you for the chuckle and for sharing my card (and your other pretty cards!)! I hope your birthday was otherwise stress-free and lovely and I hope all your computer problems are sorted soon. As for the heat, ugh, I feel your pain. We are supposed to be in the low 90s by Wednesday and even with a/c I dread it. Growing up I remember folks saying that old people moved away to Arizona because "they love the heat!" As I've entered my dotage, I've yet to talk to ONE old person who loves the heat, lol! All my best to you and Jim! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHappy belated Birthday hope you had a lovely day Such special cards you lucky lady love and hugs Carole x

What a lovely and generous group of friends you have Jill ! All these cards are gorgeous !
ReplyDeleteOh, sweet Jill, I didn't know it was your birthday...but belated birthday wishes, sweet friend! I hope it was a wonderful day. I am so sorry that you and Jim were caught unaware of the heat wave and didn't sleep well. I remember those days up north in NJ. Talk about sweltering. I guess you could add some to that. I got a chuckle out of your upside down card. I love the beautiful flower/succulent, and each of the cards surely brought a smile to you. I trust you are getting ready for the warmer weather, and I wish you a joyous day, my friend! Sending hugs and love! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love each of the lovely birthday cards each person took time to create and send to you. I'm so glad that you enjoyed mine I sent to you as well. It's always a pleasure with friends who enjoy the same seance of creativity.
ReplyDeleteHope you day was a blast.
Hugs...Leanne
