The Stamp I used is from Our Daily Bread Designs. I colored the dress with copics.
Some more bracelets that I made...
It's hard for me to believe that it's been four months since I have posted to my blog. (I almost forgot how to do it...smile)
I also think that this is the longest I have gone without creating a card in over 10 years. And, yes, I almost forgot how to make a card... As you can see by the above bracelets that I made...I have doing more Jewelry making than cards.
I wish I could say that I have been absent because I went on a fabulous vacation some where...NOT! In fact, Jim and I did not get away for even ONE DAY! Hopefully, that will change soon.
Jim and I have both been having some medical issues, but things seem to be going better, so hopefully, I will be posting more and be able to get around and visit blogs....
Hope everyone has had a wonderful summer...
And a Happy day...
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect.
It means that you've decided to look beyond the
imperfections.

That vintage party dress is so pretty, as is your card! It's funny, I have several friends who have really cut back on their card making in favor of beading and jewelry making. I did some beading MANY years ago and wouldn't mind trying it again, it's very relaxing :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card Jill, and your jewelry looks fabulous. Sorry to hear you have had health issues - I knew Jim had done himself a mischief, but did not know you were poorly :-(. Praying that both of you recover fully, and can have a wee break.

Oh, Jill, it's wonderful to see you post a card today, and what a gorgeous one with this Victorian dress! I love the colors and beautiful die, and what a gorgeous bow! And wow, I love your bracelets! What talent! Yes, it's been a long road for you and Jim, and I pray that each day you will both feel stronger and healthier! Continued prayers and sending love and hugs to you both! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour card and bracelets are beautiful! I have never tried to make jewelry so these look amazing to me! So sorry to read that you've been having medical issues and I hope they resolve themselves soon so you can enjoy the rest of the summer and maybe enjoy a day trip with your hubby.
ReplyDeleteWonderful bracelets and cards, Jill! Love the colors and details on them both - beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI could relate to everything you said here - I have not made as many cards, posted as much, or gone anywhere interesting either. I have spent time doing another hobby and Kenny and I have had some medical issues too. I have gotten better, but Kenny is taking a lot longer to heal from his surgery than we thought. It is very frustrating!
Many hugz to you and Jim!
Jill so good to see you make a card again! This one is just beautiful as always!!! So sorry to hear you and Jim have been dealing with health issues too! I will be praying for you both! On another note... I love your bracelets!!! I had lost your email address and was never able to email you a thank you for the beautiful pink one you sent me! I just love it and have worn it so much! So thank you for sharing another one of your talents!!! Sending hugs and prayers!!!
