The above Card was originally made and posted to my blog 3 years ago...
I tried to case one of cards that I had made before, and this time my card ended up to be two cards instead...smile
I used the same Dreamweaver Stencil for the first card.
LL493. I also used a spellbinder border die and sponged my stenciled images with Tim Holtz distress inks!
My second card was made using a stamp from Stampin' Up to make the leaf background. Autumn days. The large leaf was a free printable I found many years ago. I used Versamark on the leaf and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. My Hello sentiment is a die from Our Daily Bread Designs.

But how happy others can be because of you."
Thank you for visiting my blog today...

What a beautiful trio Jill - love your autumnal colours and the large leaf on the third card is the perfect accent for it. Good to see you back in blogland again.

I love your CASED card from the original. The colors look so pretty and I like the punched border too! Pretty autumn leaves on the last one too - great colors for this time of year! Glad you got your PC working again too!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job of CASEing yourself and how fun to get two cards created from one inspiration! Love the fun colors on the tea cups. The ribbon and die cut border add layers of elegance! Your fall leaf card is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAh, Jill, it's good to see you up and running again! I heard about Jim's computer. I love all your cards and love the CASE of the older one. What a beautiful stencil, and you've done a lovely job of sponging them with perfect colors. And the border is beautiful with the ribbon. And I am delighted to read that you made that DP using one little leaf stamp. So beautiful! And that large leaf is lovely with the ribbon and then the "hello" die. So good to see you and your cards! Hugs, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteLovely, lovely cards!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you completely, too. Sometimes casing ourselves is a very fulfilling way to bring in new creativity to a favorite design or idea.
I'm so glad Jim got your computer up and running, Jill! Your CASE of your own beautiful card is especially awesome considering you ended up with TWO! They are both terrific! I especially love the second one with that real-looking leaf and the tiny colorful leaves cascading on the bg panel!! Happy Thanksgiving to you and Jim!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteHow fun you cased yourself!!! Love both cards! Your newest is so cute and so crisp and clean. I am so into leaves this year and I love your big one (and the little ones too). Lovely card for this time of year. Hugz
