I made this birthday card for a friend, I used Graphic 45 for my Designer paper, and a Martha Stewardt Punch around the page punch (Swirling Lace) added a Martha Stewart lace butterfly, Prima flower, ribbon and dimensionals to pop up the layers. The sentiment was stamped with a Stampin' Up stamp."Don't wait for the perfect moment.
Take the moment and make it perfect."

ReplyDeleteVery feminine with such pretty colors. Love the doilies and the shape of the frame. Gorgeous flower & ribbon trims but that lacey, delicate butterfly just sets the entire card into another realm. I'm sure that your friend loved it too, and your pretty doily under the card was perfect to show off this one, Jill. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteJust stunning! Great job! Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteI have that MS punch and can never seem to get it to form correctly and evenly all around the page. It makes me mad!
Glad to see you had great luck Jill using it, better than me.
Glad to see your up and running again.
Hugs...Leanne
Thank you, Leanne. for the nice comments on my card.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, it took me lots and lots of practice with the punch around the page punch, and I still struggle. But I do know that the most important thing is to make sure you start with the right size paper...also, I looked up some tutorials on UTube to see how others did it...
Thanks for some reassurance Jill. I really gave up on that punch. I really struggle with that one. I never use it as I seem to waste a lot of paper with that one. I'll give it a try again and be certain to watch my measurements. If I screw it up again, I'm done with the punch. Thanks girlfriend. (Smiling)
