I made this card for two challenges. The Dynamic Duos Challenge which is to use two colors. This week's colors are yellow and soft green.
The challenge can be found here...

Also for the Twisted Sister challenge at Split Coast Stampers...the challenge this week is to use Inchies on our cards.
My card looks crooked but it's honestly NOT crooked! It's my bad photography again, and after many tries for a good photo. This was the best. The colors also honestly match better in real life than the photo shows. I hope one of these days I can get some good photo hints or lessons.
My card has inchies under the flower but I think it's difficult to see that. My background was dry embossed using my a Stampin' Up embossing folder. (Square Lattice) My sentiment was stamped with a stamp from Justrite Stamps..With Gratitude, Labels One. My Designer paper is from Stampin' Up.

Good morning Gill-How are you today? Hope you are feeling better :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty card-I do love that colour combination so fresh, yet soft at the same time.Love how you used the inches to make you a background for your flower-and the image you have used is lovely.
Have a lovely day-it's another wet and windy one forecast here so after sorting the neddies in the rain this morning and a steaming hot cup of coffee I am off to the craftroom again this afternoon hooray!(I shall run quickly past the horrid ironing stack and pretend I didn't see it Lol!)

So pretty and colorful with the yellow and green. I do see your little inchies peeking out.
ReplyDeletePretend you never did any laundry and forget the ironing for today. Crafting is more important at this time. Run, Run...... LOL
Love this Jill, the colours are lovely and I really like the way you have displayed the watering can and the flower over the inchies.

This is lovely Jill! Don't worry about your photos:they are nice. I still struggle with mine, I think it just takes time to get the hang of it! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love this, Jill! I could see the twinchies when I clicked on the photo. I'll have to go see if I missed that color challenge; bet I did.
ReplyDeleteAs I was reading your older posts to catch up, I was so sorry to read about your terrible fall! Bleep! You must have been so scared until you realized nothing was broken, thank God! Take care - and move that cord out of the way!!
Happy Belated Birthday to Jim!! Hugs, Darnell
Very pretty, I love the yellow and green together and your little inchies.
ReplyDeleteI somehow missed this pretty card, but I love the colors and images! Very nice card!
