Carol, is one of first bloggers I met through blogging. I can tell you that Carol's beautiful cards are even prettier in real life...so she does Not make ugly cards...Okay, Carol, I have to tell you that I sort of agree the card you posted for the The Ugliest Card ever challenge...sort of qualifies...don't think it's as ugly as mine though...LOL
Carol's blog, led me to find Darnell's blog...
Darnell's blog is a real treat to visit. I usually grab a box of kleenex before I go visit her blog. I have had to wipe tears from my eyes many times. She has a great sense of humor.

Well, my card definitely fit the challenge, but I had to go a bit overboard and add half of the supplies in my craft room at the time. You have to admit it's a one of a kind card! I can't imagine anyone ever wanting to case this card. In fact, in is a NONE of a kind card. I went looking for it, because of this challenge, but I could NOT find it. I think I threw it in the trash. I know for a fact, that I did NOT mail it to anyone...

ReplyDeleteI don't think this card is really all that bad, so I guess we're our own worst critics :) We've both come a long way since our cards, so we deserve to laugh at ourselves and our "creations!"
Thanks too for the shout-out. This might be the most fun thing I've done on AFD other than spike my husband's sugar bowl with salt :)
I agree, "none of a kind" is a keeper that I'm going to steal!!
ReplyDeleteBut, oh Lord, Jill, you have me laughing. At first glance I thought, "hey, what's she talkin' 'bout, Wilson? That is not an ug... hmmm, wait a sec ...!" Sure enough, it's pretty, um, excessively circled and spotted and rivoted, isn't it? So funny! And it brings back so many memories. I do remember those, "If one square is good, how about if I add three" days!!

I have so much fun looking at all the "ugly" cards today, and while you may find this to be one for that category, but I don't find it as ugly as you do. LOL. I'm glad you could play along today!

ReplyDeleteGosh Jill, I don't think it's ugly at all. It's a lot better than some of the ones I haven't posted that I made, and I like it better than some of the ones I did post.
