It was a fun technique and I will definitely give it a try again, it was a great way to use up scraps of designer paper that I had. The Pennants were punched out with my Stampin' Up Pennant Punch...and my Christmas Designer paper is from Stampin' Up as is my Sentiment which was stamped with Memento Ink. I added a spellbinder snowflake, ribbon, and a stick on gem.

This is wonderful! The Octopode Challenge this week is triangles so you should enter this in that challenge. Love the paper you used too and the colors. Super card!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really fun technique Jill, and you did a beautiful job with it!
ReplyDeleteMy scrap box is getting fuller, I need to go through it and punch some stuff too. I hate throwing out the scraps, and don't feel so guilty when I punch them. I do organize the punch outs into things like flowers, leaves, stars, and things like that as I do them, but when they are all those scraps, they just look like a mess!
It sounds like your trip to the stamping store was lots of fun. I love those kinds of trips when you get so much that it's hard to decide what to use first! The JustRite ornament stamps are beautiful, and always have so many little extras with them. I've got all except one of them. I think Merry and bright is the one I don't have, because I think it came out after the ones I bought, and I decided I didn't need another one!
What a fun way to use your scraps - you have made a really dramatic card with these.
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Maxine
Jill....you are amazing!
ReplyDeleteSo festive!
