Ever since I saw on a blogging post at Karen's blog http://www.mydesertcottage.com/
The links to where blogger create...
I wished I had a craft room that I could post...I realize that my craft room does not have the creativity and pop like some of the ones in those links....they are fabulous. But I am finally happy with my space. It's not completely done, still need to paint the closet and closet doors, etc. But it is now usable, and quite functional. I know I will be spending less time at my dining room table crafting now.
I asked my contractor who put in my new hardwood floor to find me some upper cabinets for more storage in my room.
The cabinet in the corner holds my embellishments.
I was looking at the photos of my room and told my husband that something else I need is a radiator cover...LOL. He just kind of groaned...He has made me 4 for some of our other rooms. My paint color is a light pink, (My favorite color) at night it has a lavender look. The paint is by Behr, it's called French Heirloom.

Oh what a beautiful room :-)

OMGosh, Jill!! What a beautiful space!! I'm afraid my embellishments are in three different places in my craft room! You are much more organized than I!! Awesome!!!

ReplyDeleteJust found your post on your craft room. You are so lucky to have a seperate room. I don't have a seperate craftroom for my crafting. I use my tiny laundry room. I have cabinets above my washer and dryer and a closet with shelves on the other wall, but use only 1 shelf in the closet (no more room). So I constantly use the top of my washer and then drag more stuff onto my kitchen (glass) table and make a mess even on the kitchen countertops. Then when I'm done I have a mess to clean up every where. UHG!
I hope if we ever move someday I will be looking for that spare room.
Hugs...Leanne
I wanted to thank you for your kind comments on my blog about my craft room! :) Your room is absolutely gorgeous here!! Glad I was able to find your postings about it! I know what you mean about it being had to keep your craft room organized and I have purged so much myself during the move...it really felt good. Although I'm not COMPLETELY done with it, I have just a few more things that I'd like to do to it! Then I think it will start to feel more comfortable to me. I absolutely HATE to sit down to craft...so I have to get rid of that table and replace it with cabinets and counter top. The close still needs to be organized as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your story and your beautiful craft room photos!! HUGS
