At the Squiggleyfly challenge blog, this week's challenge is to use a favorite digi...This is the one I picked to be my favorite. The artist for this digi is Lynne Stansbery and the digi can be found here http://www.squigglefly.com/shop/heres-how-your-garden-grows
The challenge blog for Squigglefly can be found here:
I liked this beautiful image, and made my card a CAS card, because I didn't want to take away from the focus of the pretty image. I only added popdots to raise up the image, a ribbon on the hat, and a sticker for the sentiment.
Whatever your hands find to do, do it will all your might...Ecclesiastes 9:10
My husband colored the image with copics:W3, C1,E31,G14, Y13, G82, E97, E25, Y13, E79,BG 34, E30, E41, BG72,YG17, G17
My husband not only wrote down every color he used for me, he also wrote what color he used for every item...smile.
For some reason Blogger is not co-operating with me today. It won't let me use spell check, so forgive any typos. (that has me spoiled) It won't let me use the hper link, and won't let me comment on some of the blogs. Hopefully, that will be corrected and I can comment on some blogs later today.
Congratulations on your Squigglefly DT spot! Looking forward to seeing your creations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and welcome aboard. Looking forward to working with you. Love your card, fabulous colors and coloring and the bow on the hat is perfect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very pretty image and I can see why it's your favorite. Great coloring too!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on you big news.
ReplyDeleteSo nice of your husband to pitch in and help. Mine doesn't colour for me, but he will pick up new Copics for me on the way home from work if I give him a list.
Beautiful image choice, it looks like it would be fun to colour.
Oooh, you got to Longwood! Good for you....we haven't been there in ages. Now that Mikey isn't there we haven't made the effort. Life is so crazy.
ReplyDeleteI love the angle you used for this picture on the card. Perfect.
Love that card, great coloring, and thanks for the Copic listing! Can't wait to play with you!
ReplyDeletePat, you and dh are a great team. Love that scene, no wonder it's your favorite. The gingham in the background makes it come out so fine.
ReplyDeleteIt will be such a fun ride for the next 6 months won't it. :)Peggy
What a gorgeous scene! I also like the new photo you posted. You look like a very chic special agent!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful card and great job on all the colors. Blogger gave me trouble on commenting on some blogs and then I discovered that it I checked "keep me logged in" I had trouble and if I logged in each time I could comment on all the blogs. So, I guess it was some kind of glitch on blogger. Have a great day! Elena
