This is NOT my fireplace, I wish I had one, especially considering how cold it is getting. It's my daughters fireplace, with her collection of houses, and Nutcrackers. She sent it to me, and gave me permission to post it on my blog.
We usually go to my daughter's house on Christmas Eve, she cooks us a lovely dinner, has her fireplace going, soft Christmas music playing in the background. So nice, we are so fortunate.
But this year, we still don't know what we will be doing, it depends on my Mother's health on Christmas day, and what the weather is like. Taking it one day at a time right now.
Your daughter's fireplace looks so warm and inviting and festive.
ReplyDeleteWe will be home on Christmas eve and Christmas day, then leaving early Saturday morning for Binghamton, NY to go to my mother-in-laws. I wanted to go to Bellefonte to visit both of my daughters and give them their gifts, but the weather scared us. I guess we will go after New Years. Have a blessed Christmas.
I love the fireplace...sounds like your daughter makes it a very cozy dinner...I hope your Mom will be able to make it....Keeping you in my prayers....
