In the meantime I Thought I would show another Bed and Breakfast we have stayed at in the past. It's located in Maryland. Just lovely, we have stayed there for two weekends as guests, and one weekend as house sitters! We were so fortunate to have been asked to do that!
I would post a link, but again I think the B & B is going out of business. (The owner , who is such a wonderful person, and born to be a bed and breakfast hostess, is Ill and can no longer operate her lovely Inn.
Barb, I had to post the "Rooster" pillow for you. The cat in the one photo is called "Precious" and she really fits her name...
Don't mind me, I'm not really here...I am supposed to be taking a bloggy break...oops!
ReplyDeleteI have never stayed in a B&B but love your pictures of the ones you have stayed in.
How cool that you were asked to house sit this one. Too bad the owner is ill.
Happy Labor Day.
Becky K.
Becky, In case you are still readng this...
ReplyDeleteWe rarely ever took a vacation...and then about 10 years ago, we decided to finally take a vacation and stay at our first Bed and Breakfast...(that was in the Blue Ridge Mountains) Now we're spoiled...we ONLY want to stay in a bed and breakfast...they are more like home away from home. We met some lovely Inn keepers along the way, and two have become friends.
WHat a gorgeous B&B this is! And how wonderful to be asked to house-sit for them! I've never stayed in one - perhaps I should reconsider! TFS
ReplyDeleteHi Jill, everything looks wonderful. Of course, I love, love that rooster pillow!!
ReplyDeleteBarb :-)
