How amusing!!! I love these images - it reminds me of days gone by and it's too funny!! I wish I could come up with some clever sentiment, but my mind is blank! Great card, I enjoyed the chuckle:)
ReplyDeleteI just love this...
ReplyDeleteIt could be a "get well" card.
Becky, good idea, havent' thought of it that way. thank you. The only thing I could come up with is... putting inside the card...Your another year O L D E R! and put the older in large letters...
ReplyDeleteYou have me thinking now...Have a great day...Blessings, Jill
Jill, I have always been impressed over your hand-crafted cards. My next-door neighbor's dog passed away a few days ago. She called me up to tell me. I wanted to send a sympathy card on the loss of her dog. Hallmark missed that. I dug out my scrapbook stuff and made her a card using the Rainbow Bridge poem. The sentiment was there, but the card looked something a fifth grader would make. I thought about all the lovely cards you make and having created my first card, my admiration of your cards went up even further
ReplyDeleteKaren, Thank you for your nice comment. You had a great idea using the poem from Rainbow bridge, I'm sure your card looked a lot nicer than you are giving yourself credit. For every four or so cards that I make, I'm only happy with maybe one of them...but I'm really fortunate in the fact that the people I give the cards to usually appreciate them no matter what, it's the thought that is behind the card that matters the most. Keep practicing, and I would love to see the cards that you make...Blessings, Jill
ReplyDeleteJill, this is too cute.
